Cruelty to Immigrant Women

We’ve covered before how the roots of anti-immigrant hostility, based in the eugenics movement, have been fueled by racism and disdain for people with disabilities. Eugenics is one of the roots of abortion and euthanasia advocacy, and was found in the Roe v. Wade decision.

Therefore, if it’s true that doctors inflicted hysterectomies on immigrant women without their knowledge or consent, then this is a long-standing outrage caused by the bigotry connected to so many other kinds of violence. There should be a full investigation and urgency in preventing this from ever happening.
