Climate Change
The northern hemisphere recorded the hottest summer ever in 2026. The entire world had the hottest August on record. An article in The Independent details that Pregnant women exposed to heatwaves ‘25% more likely to suffer complications’. Complications mentioned include stillbirths. As with radiation from nuclear technology, fetal and newborn children are the most vulnerable to lethal impacts.

Euthanasia in Belgium
Disturbing news about euthanasia: Belgium: Proportion of deaths caused by euthanasia more than doubles in five years, reaching 4% of all deaths in 2025.
Product Liability Suits Against Planned Parenthood
A law firm that’s filed several lawsuits against local Planned Parenthood centers explains: Depo-Provera Lawsuit - Brain Tumor Risks. They’re one of the high-power law firms soliciting more cases. The lawsuits primarily target the manufacturer, Pfizer. They have individual suits in local courts to include those who administered the drug shots because, they assert, the providers also should have warned the patients and suggested safer alternatives.
A list of currently-known individual lawsuits can be found at Explanation of Problems & Lists of Planned Parenthood Centers under Malpractice Suits – Complications – Depo Provera, with links to the pages that have full Court Complaints. The 2026 cases are currently all listed under California.
Keep Space for Peace
Our board member Julia Smucker attended the Vigil for Disarmament at Bath Iron Works, a military shipyard in Bath, Maine that produces warships, including nuclear capable ones. This vigil was held as part of the International Week of Protest to Stop the Militarization of Space, observed by the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space (space4peace.org).

The drugs used in executions are often the same as those used in assisted suicide, and as witnessed by Pike and

Carruthers, these deaths are far more grisly than many realize.
Many assume that lethal injection and euthanasia merely cause someone to fall asleep and then die painlessly, but in reality, the drugs cause pulmonary edema. This means the person's lungs fill with fluid, and he/she drowns in his/her own secretions.
But because the person is given a paralytic first, both in lethal injections and euthanasia, it is therefore impossible to know what pain or suffering the person might be experiencing.
Experiments with assisted suicide and euthanasia have also been excruciating, with one cocktail said to be “burning patients’ mouths and throats, causing some to scream in pain.”
These are not peaceful, humane deaths, whether during execution or euthanasia.
